Alvin Greene South Carolina's mystery man

June 11th 2010 22:59
Alvin Greene the accused obscenity law offender shockingly is the Democratic nominee for the Senate from South Carolina. No it isn’t shocking that a Democrat would be up on obscenity charges but it is shocking that a person few have heard of won the nomination.

Alvin Greene was kicked out of the army and is unemployed and living with his parents. Nobody can explain where his $10,000 fee to run in the election came from, and how he got over 100,000 votes in South Carolina when he didn’t even campaign.

Alvin Greene ,the U.S. Senate candidate was captured on video surveillance Nov. 4 trying to show "obscene photographs from a website" to a female victim on the University of South Carolina campus and go to her room without her consent, according to this ABC article.

This simply could be a matter of South Carolina voters not liking the candidates offered so they went with the guy they didn’t know. I smell ACORN voter fraud myself or perhaps he was put there by the Republicans to discredit the Democrats in South Carolina, like they need help doing that.

South Carolina residents probably wish their politicians would keep a low profile after Governor Mark Sanford’s antics. As a North Carolina resident I follow South Carolina politics a little. I liked Sanford and love Jim DeMint but am shaking my head about mystery man Alvin Greene.

According to this Washington Post article Alvin Greene only has $114 in his campaign bank account. The article goes on to name a who’s who of South Carolina politicians calling for Greene to quit.

I am all for anything that makes Democrats look bad in South Carolina or anywhere else of course. I will be following the Alvin Greene story with lots of interest in the new few days.

He'll probably get elected to whatever he wants, Randy. After all, we've had one president who specialized in sex offenses and the dems elected him twice. And now we have someone that nobody ever heard of before he started running for president. They'll run pretty much anything that's breathing and the sheeple follow blindly along. If it smells like an ACORN and grows poisonous fruit... well...

I won't join the paranoia of some comments, but I agree with you that Mr. Greene doesn't seem to display much in the way of credentials! It may be Democrats that are responsible for Mr. Greene (although I cannot see what they would have to gain), it may be Acorn, as SL and you seem to feel (although I cannot imagine its goal) or it could be the GOP (but that seems a bit strained).

So I guess we'll have to see what plays out.

Of course, we could fix everything in the world by reducing taxes, governmental regulation and interference with everything but a woman's womb, and impeaching that Kenyan pretender to the presidency.

Wow, Jim! Are you feeling all right? You're beginning to make a little sense! Keep trying and someday you might become a conservative. Oh, you forgot the "we should return to the Constitution" part.

Interesting observation:

" No it isn’t shocking that a Democrat would be up on obscenity charges but it is shocking that a person few have heard of won the nomination...."

I am curious to find out what you think about Mr. Ensign's antics? What about Mr. Vitter?

Forgive me for answering a question that was probably aimed at you, Randy, but I just can't help it.

What about Ensign and Vitter, Mike? Yeah, a couple of bad apples. How about Bill "the zipper" Clinton, Ted "killer" Kennedy, Rod Blagojavich, "refrigerator" Jefferson, Barney Frank (and his prostitution business in his basement), Chris Dodd (the real estate crook), Charlie Rangle (off duty for the investigation), Tim Geithner (tax cheat), Kathy "I don't want it to be a magnet" Brown, or dozens of other democrat criminals that still hold their offices, in spite of their behavior. I've heard it said that criminal behavior is considered a resume enhancement in democrat circles.

Ok Democrats usually support criminals so it goes without saying that some of them ARE criminals.

Politics draws rich scumbags that want to get richer, from both parties. Sure the GOP has it's share.

Since I am not in a party I don't mind saying both parties suck for different reasons.

Democrats "usually" support criminals..That's a rather loaded statement...

Did u all even remotely think that this guy was a plant by the GOP?
