Democrats trying to steal an Election
November 13th 2008 00:07
The Wall Street Journal is reporting that the Democrats are trying to steal an election. I know that is really shocking since they are for the “Little Guy” and fair play. But it clear they will do anything to gain more power. This is going to be a long four years folks. Check the article about their latest attempts to do wrong.

You state that Democrats are trying to steal the Minnesota Senatorial race by stealing it. That seems a bit premature
.
First, Minnesota has an excellent history of fair elections and election officials – Republican and Democrat, Second, Barack Obama won the state by 10 % and I would expect the Democratic Senate candidate to do well there. Third, you infer that the campaign of Al Franken is causing/requesting the recount for implementation of a plan to “steal” the election.
Please consider that the Canvassing board is comprised with a majority of Republicans and there has been not the slightest indication that it might be unfair. Finally, the recount is mandatory under Minnesota law. The statute is long but you can look it up – Minn. Statutes, 2006, as amended, § 204C.35 (1).
Assuming that the Republican dominated Canvassing board which has a good reputation with both state parties seems premature.

Thanks for your comments. You and the rest of the folks who are so paranoid need to have faith in the system to work. Jim Stillman told us about the actual minnesota law that mandates this process. That's all. Let's avoid all these conspiracy theories and make sure that we all focus on what we're all rightfully concerned about: how to get out of the world-wide economic mess we are in.

Do you really and truly ascribe to the statements that the 63 million people who voted for Obama were “idiotic” or that “they don't have the brains that God gave a rock” or that President-elect is a “mental case” and, finally, that liberals are “determined to destroy us”? And who is us
If you do not feel that all those with contrary opinions are brainless mental cases determined to destroy the country and you say nothing on your own Blog, then you. My friend, are more than disappointed; I am offended and ashamed.

I would really, really like to know what "proof" you all have that they are trying to steal it? No conjecture, no assumptions, no crap that is posted on human events or worldnet daily...just proof. Just because you think they might steal the election, does not necessarily mean they are going to. As I wrote before, Coleman has enough lawyers on the beat. So, let's again stay calm and allow the process to work.
Now, as far a good democrat being a Reagan Democrat, Randy is again entitled to his opinion. But, adopting a 21st centruy Mccarythism mentality will do nothing to help overcome the economic malaise that we are faced with. As I have read this discussion, that's the disappointment that I have. We have a wonderful opportunity to have a genuine debate to figure out what can be done. 63 Million people voted for an opportunity to try something different. What is certain is that less regulation, constant tax cuts did not work. The bailout, too, was a disaster in the way it was handled. So, we have to see what can be done before we're all out of a job and homeless. That's the reality. We can blast each other all we want. But, we'll be back at where we started.

"B.O" as you like to call him now (which is cool) has to begin performing. He has the job now. The time for talking is indeed over. Now is the time for action. On that we do agree.
