More tax prebates ahead?

Democrats are pushing for another stimulus package similar to the one that began earlier this year.
The president is taking a "wait and see" approach right now, while the democrats are blaming the lack of effect of the first package on rising energy costs.
It looks like the democrats are trying to back up their boy Obama who said last month that we should have another $50 billion tax rebate plan on top of the $160 billion or so one we already had.
Bush's wait and see idea is actually more sound if you are someone who wants the government taking our money in the first place. The package was written with the intention of working by the end of 2008. Last time I looked it was only half way through the year.
The package the democrats are proposing would put another $600 in our pockets by the holiday shopping season. Sounds good to me, except that once again some people who didn't work would be getting money. That means that they would owe even more money back next year if they continued not to earn this year...If those guys were smart they would just hold onto the checks until taxes are due in 2009. As long as we keep those pesky rich people from getting their money back it should all be fine.
But I have an even better idea for Obama and his democrobots- instead of taxing us and then giving it back to us whenever you feel like it, why don't you cut your spending and let us keep our money in the first place. Oh, thats right! That would involve control in our hands and noone wants that to happen...
