Polish President dies in plane crash

How ironic that Polish President Lech Kaczynski and many high ranking government, military and church officials died in a Russian plane crash, on the way to mark the anniversary of Russians killing Poles. Not too many years ago fingers would have pointed directly at Russia in the deaths of a Polish president on Russian soil.
Fox news reported the following On board were the national bank president, deputy foreign minister, army chaplain, head of the National Security Office, deputy parliament speaker, Olympic Committee head, civil rights commissioner and at least two presidential aides and three lawmakers, the Polish foreign ministry said. Kaczynski's wife, Maria, also died.
The Polish military was represented by some of its highest ranking officers who also died in the plane crash that took place in dense fog in Russian. For years members of the Soviet Union denied the murder of thousands of Polish officers during World War II, in one of the bloodiest Communist atrocities of the war.
It saddened me to hear of the death of President Lech Kaczynski and the others in the Russian plane crash. Poland has had some rough years due to the Soviet Union and earlier Germany as well and the abuse that the two countries heaped on the Poles.
