Returning combat vets being mistreated

War is Hell but so is the way our soldiers get treated when they return home. A friend called my attention to this article at opednews.com about how the Government is treating our returning heroes.
In the name of saving money the combat veterans are being denied treatment in many cases and sometimes even bullied into not seeking treatment for post traumatic stress issues. This is particularly bothersome to me as you can read here; my uncle is going through all kinds of trouble due to his exposure to Agent Orange in Vietnam.
Not only are some of the returning heroes being denied treatment, often they are being diagnosed with a preexisting condition in order to deny them treatment. Now of course being a right winger opposed to Obama, I want rant in that direction. The problem is the mistreating of combat veterans started under President Bush, the man who sent them to war in the first place.
I never did support the Iraq War but did feel the one in Afghanistan was warranted. I find it hard to support even that one if our young men and women are going to be mistreated by the Government that sent them over there.
As for the way the Bush Administration and Obama’s both being to blame, it furthers my opinion that there is little difference between Democrats and Republicans these days. Thus I belong to no political party at this time.
