Obama in the schools

September 7th 2009 21:16
Oh me oh my Obama wants to talk to school kids! Get a grip and get over it, Presidents address kids all the time. Is it propaganda of the worst sort being spouted by President Obama? Sure it is.

We are back to what is hurting out educational system to start with. Yes the liberals are using to brainwash our kids. But conservatives want to sit and bitch about their kids being dumbed down and not do anything about it. Educate your own kids about what is going on in this country and you won’t have to worry about progressive propaganda from President Obama messing up your kids.

Sit your kids down and tell them why you think each point that Obama makes in his school speech is wrong, if you feel that it is. As a parent is your JOB to have more influence over your kids than a damn video they watch in school.

So pick the important battles to fight, like getting rid of Czars and don’t worry so much about Obama’s speech in the schools.

Thank you, Randy. The President's address to the kids is available on Facebook and www.whitehouse.gov. No rational person could have the slightest objection to the test.

A President visiting school kids is hardly anything new. What did you call it when Bush was reading to school kids when 9/11 was happening?

President Bush was reading a book to one class of kids. He didn't go on TV and blast himself all over the country. That's one big difference, Janet.

And that doesn't count as political PR? Please SL give me a break.

If SL were to personally witness President Obama walking on water, she would exclaim, "See, I told you he was flawed; he can't swim!"

Janet, it was part of the "No Child Left Behind" program. He only spoke to one class at a time and concentrated on reading and it's importance. There was no worksheet concerning how the kids could "help" him. There was no required reading of books about himself that he had written, either.

Jim, there was only One Man who could walk on water. And in spite of your pitiful attempt at twisted humor, even you should know that His Name was Jesus Christ.
