The Article Every Newspaper Should Have Written About Sarah Palin But Nobody Did

July 6th 2009 10:14
Sarah Palin resigned her office today as Governor of Alaska, effective before the end of the month. In a refreshing turn of events for a politician, she gave a short list of reasons that were the actual truth:

* that fighting off repeated discredited charges of corruption in her administration were costing the Alaskan government too much money and preventing her from effectively addressing Alaskan issues;

* that she was tired of pundits, media, and comedians going after her children instead of her;

* and that she had completed her whole list of priorities in the state anyway, especially the illumination and eradication of corruption in both parties of the government of her state.

We wish Governor Palin well, and look forward with curiosity to see what she plans to do next in her career.

It should be interesting to see what she does next, kywrite. I'm sure the MSM will have a field day over her resignation...

They've already had a field day, but I'm sure they'll milk it until people scream, or another MJ dies. They are like leeches feeding on her, I swear - and not one has the decency to wish her well or to take her at her word. How sad a comment that is.

A sad commentary, indeed, kywrite. She has been treated badly from day one. The "all inclusive" liberals consider conservative women targets, not people.

You watch, though: the PUMAs and similarly-minded liberal women are taking note. She is getting a near-fanatical following among conservative women, and a loyal one among feminists who have figured out that the Dems used abortion to trap them in their party for three decades while they completely ignored other women's issues.

What is going on among women, especially those aged 35 , is fascinating.

I won't know about things like that Kywrite, but she has gotten quite a few men's attention also, and because she is a pretty lady either. She is a bright, honest, and refreshing sort of politician we have been waiting for.

She brought life to McCain's campaign, when it was dead in the water. I am so sick of how Sarah and her family is being, and has been treated never have I seen any other politician tormented, and tortured the way she has for no other reason other than she is a conservative woman.

I do hope all this turns out to be for her benefit in the future, and the liberal have to run with their tails between their legs.
