Why the Left is attacking our economy and Freedom of Speech

Crying Eagle
Why the left is attacking America
Are you wondering why the Democratic Party and President Elect Obama want to destroy the United States economy? Or are you thinking their inexperience is just hurting them and they will figure it out? Well it isn’t a mistake they are doing it intentionally.

The Democrats have had a shift in power to the far left side of their party. Are all Democrats socialists intent on bringing America to its knees? Certainly not, they just hated President Bush and the Right, bad enough to ignore the signs. Or they heard all the pretty campaign promises and fell for it.

President Elect Obama flat out repeatedly lied to the American People about his cutting taxes on 95 percent of Americans. Only about 40 percent of American households even pay income taxes. Do the math.

He is simply going to give people a stimulus check like President Bush did. This puts a little spending money in some pockets and gets him good will from people who don’t know any better. And it is a short term fix for a long term problem.

A long term fix would be to lower taxes and thus create more jobs. If the taxes are lower, then a business will have more operating money for production and adding new jobs. If people have a job they will buy more stuff, thus having a steady economy.

Look at it this way. Would you rather have $500 and no job, or no $500 stimulus check but a job every day? Well the far left does not want you to have a steady job.

They want to tax the rich into poverty and make the prices on everything soar. President Elect Obama already said he wants to bankrupt the coal industry. Wonder where all those coal miners will work. And I wonder how people will pay a power bill if they can even get electricity.

The Left is going to sock it to the rich people and give that money away to poor people. The poor people will spend the check and still be poor.

Their whole socialist agenda is an attack on capitalism. By raising Capital Gains taxes they will discourage investment in the market. And now they are going to go after American’s 401 K retirement plans.

There are two reasons for taking your 401K.

The first reason is to hurt the stock market. When they seize (and you will have no choice if this passes) your 401 K that is pulled from the stock markets. And folks that is a lot of money suddenly gone from our stock market.

The second reason is to fill their government coffers with money to give out in their welfare programs. Oh they are going to call it a savings program and give you a little interest. But the Government will seize your 401 K and turn it into the new Social

Security. The reason we need a new Social Security is that the Government spent all of the old one. Wonder what they will do with THIS money?

And as I said earlier this isn’t stupidity or inexperience this is intended to destroy our economy. The Left wants you so beat down from trying to even survive that you won’t have time to protest their policies. This is why they are attacking Free Speech even now.

When Joe the Plumber asked a simple question he was harassed by the Left and their friends in the main steam media. Government computers (that you paid for) were used to try to dig up dirt to discredit and embarrass him.

The Left is going to go after right wing radio shows in their “Fairness Doctrine” in a blatant attack on Free Speech. The main steam media will gleefully support this, because it will eliminate their competition.

I don’t care if you hate Rush Limbaugh’s guts (and the rest of the right wing radio guys) but you have the option of not listening to them. But if the Left gets them taken off the air it is just to eliminate people who don’t agree with them.

This ties in with their desire for total power. Having a populace beaten down and tired, with no opposition enables that power. They don’t want people to listen to conservative radio and gain hope.

Freedom of Speech is the most valuable right that Americans possess. Do not take away a person’s rights just because you don’t agree with them. That isn’t what America stands for and it should never come to us being that way.

B.O.'s agenda has been clear to most of us for a long time, Randy. Most of us with working brains, that is. It annoys me to hear about "Wall St. greed" while it was nothing but greed that got B.O. elected. Greed of all those people who thought of their own desire for free money that he promised. I guess that's why greed is one of the seven deadly sins, huh? Between his greed for power and all those voters greed for phony promises, it could be deadly for America.

sorry but you two appear to be the most gullible I have ever read here!

Bush and his father and their cronies, like Cheney, are all about top end big business... ONLY!! It was under their watch that the economy collapsed, then to fix it, Bush gives the very people who created the mess billions of tax payer's money, for no effect either, as it fixed nothing, but saved the arse of their mates.

Meanwhile, the big business types are still living high on the hog, while the rest of America, particularly middle America, are being screwed.

This economic crisis is the result of Republican supported and encouraged policy...remember "trickle down" economics? That was a clver way to sell to an unsuspecting middle America the idea that the super rich should be allowed to pay almost no tax, while the rest of the mugs paid the most of it.

your problem is, you forget that big business also owns the major networks and newspapers, and they do not want to give you a truthful analysis, they just want to screw the system for their own benefit by supporting their buddies and attacking their competition, but people forget, the idea of the media was to transmit an unbiased opinion and analysis of business affairs. No such luck!

Capitalism is fine, if it is properly managed.

All the evidence points to the fact that it has not been properly managed, and unless you are a billionaire with money to burn at the moment, then you are just plain loco supporting and defending Bush and his buddies.

By the way, thanks to all the crooks who spoiled the market place, like the sub-prime loan sharks, all this mess is only going to get worse, until someone, let us hope it is Obama, gets Buffet and others to develop a proper system that allows freedom to trade, but not through fraudulent practises.

have a nice day...hope you can afford to!!

If you don't think "trickle down economics" works, Anonymous, try asking a homeless person for a job. It's the people who own businesses and hire other people who make the economy, not the government. The sub-prime mess and our financial troubles were caused by B.O. and his friends at ACORN and now he's gonna "fix" things for the rest of us (and the rest of the world, to hear foolish people tell it). The wealthiest people pay the highest taxes. Some businesses have been taxed so much they have left the country to go where their taxes are lower, taking our jobs overseas. And if you think B.O. is going to do anything but raise our taxes higher still, then you haven't been paying attention.

I thought the "stimulous package" was a mistake, and the bailout was an even bigger mistake. But try to remember that your hero B.O. voted for both and plans another one, dumping us further into debt.

Some of President Elect Obama's advisors caused this crisis with the loans. I guess they all decided to stop being crooks now. Yeah right!

Randy, Obama, and his dangerous gang have some plans for America's economy. Well they want to give away money like a drunken sailor.

And they want to slip in the fairness doctrine so we can't complain about either. They made such a big deal out of the patriot act, and now they champion something that takes away freedom of speech. Like communist they don't want any opposition to their lies.

I suspect the ACLU won't get involved in protecting the Freedom of Speech.

What you say is true and accurate. Just look at the anonymous post to prove that they hated Bush and the right. Without BIG business there can be NO jobs is something people seem to overlook. The rich get richer because they have financial smarts in the land of opportunity.

Those that take liberal arts in college are doomed to fail without the skills necessary to earn a decent wage. In the US you get what you pay for, and a community college cannot compare to an ivy-league university, for example.

People kill me when they complain about the rich because they can't manage their incomes because they have to keep up with the Joneses rather than going without.

I find it laughable, too, that they talk about the rich but fail to mention the truly rich crooks known as celebrities! After all Lindsay, Britney, Paris, etc., they are all worth their money! They're the ones who should be paying the most taxes!!!

You can't teach a dog calculus and you can't get a neo-con to face facts or even approach reality - that's another benefit of the election....their voice was reduced to a whining in the corner, with little real influence...

The last time i approached reality, it was so scary I very nearly experienced a 'trickle down' of my own. What with a financial crisis, global warming, and Australia losing a test series... I'm off to live in Second Life.
