Why you need a Library Card
October 28th 2008 20:46
A library card is a great thing to have anytime. But it is even more valuable around election time, as was recently pointed out to me. It is a key to free knowledge about politics or anything else you are interested in.
In most libraries you can use the internet though often for short periods of time per visit. Free internet can be used to visit great political sites like Rushlimbaugh.com, or Infowars.com. Or fair and almost unbiased news coverage on Foxnews.com.
Of course great books about Politics such as the following.
The Conservative Mind by Russell Kirk
Capitalism and Freedom by Milton Friedman
See I told you so by Rush Limbaugh
Let Freedom Ring: Winning the War of Liberty over Liberalism by Shawn Hannity.
So a library card can be your key to learning how to defend your rights, and keep America free from Socialism. And I even voted for McCain at my local library during North Carolina’s early voting period.
